I WAS horrified to read in the Ledbury Reporter (October 4) of plans to impose on Ledbury a sculpture trail. For what purpose?
For tourists the charm of this thriving town is its central areas, unchanged since pre-industrial times; and to litter the town with the sort of unsightly and inappropriately sited objects we see in Malvern would be a tasteless intrusion on its historic character.
