Lottery cash totalling £156,000 to be shared by voluntary and community groups across Worcester-shire and Herefordshire.
Sour grapes perhaps, but you have to strip aside layers of hypocrisy and PC over Lottery cash to reveal the truth.
War veterans (and their organisations) have received just £1 million in seven years. Yet other groups have received £18 million?
National Coalition of Anti-deportation Campaigners £740,000? Refugee Arrivals Project £449,500? Asylum Welcome £255,575? Gender Trust £33,700? Extern organisation (to help families of prisoners in Bulgaria!) £25,739 etc.
And those rejected for cash aid? Royal British Legion, St Dunstans, Battle of Britain Historical Society, Royal Star and Garter (home for disabled ex-servicemen and women), Royal Alfred (home for retired and disabled seafarers).
