DREWE Broughton and Sean Parrish are back in contention for Kidderminster Harriers in tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Shrewsbury Town at Gay Meadow (3pm).
Striker Broughton missed last Saturday's 2-0 defeat at home to Macclesfield Town because of a one-match suspension while midfielder Parrish has been sidelined for five weeks with hamstring trouble. Parrish proved his fitness earlier this week when he played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Wolves which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Harriers boss Ian Britton said: "We haven't seen the best of Sean yet but he's got a fight now because of how Sam Shilton has been doing. It's good to have healthy competition."
Broughton's untiring efforts up-front, even though he has yet to score this season, were sorely missed against Macclesfield whose victory ended Harriers' unbeaten run of nine league matches.
Kidderminster have yet to finalise their side. Defenders Craig Hinton and Lee Ayres have both been troubled by hamstring problems while midfielder Dean Bennett has been laid low by a stomach virus which forced him to miss last Saturday's clash with the Silkmen.
Harriers two on-loan players from Wolves - John Melligan and Kenny Coleman - have also been on the casualty list.
Defender Coleman, who made his debut for Harriers last Saturday, has been suffering from tight hamstrings while Melligan is striving to overcome 'flu.
Britton, meanwhile, hopes the friendly with Wolves has helped his players get last Saturday's disappointing performance out of their systems.
He said: "We returned to how we were playing in the league before Saturday's game. The players know they have let people down and even more so let themselves down. We have to get back to winning ways and it just happens to be a short trip to Shrewsbury."
The Shrews, who are battling to move out of the lower reaches in the table, have lost their last two home games.
FORMCAST: Harriers to earn a 1-1 draw.
