TWO year nine students from Droitwich Spa High School have been selected to attend a three-day England Schoolboys' football trial.
The two, Chris Duggan and David Burtoft, will spend three days training and being coached at the Lilleshall National Centre of Excellence.
If they prove themselves, they will then go on to join the national schoolboy squad -- Burtoft at under fourteen level and Chris at under fifteen.
Both boys are currently signed to Midland clubs, with Duggan at Coventry and Burtoft at Aston Villa.
Danny Hilditch who coaches the Droitwich school's year nine football team said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for the boys. Both of them are excellent players and in addition have a very balanced and mature approach to their sport.
"Everyone at the school is naturally delighted that they have been selected."
Former Hereford striker Rob Elmes who teaches German at Droitwich High is also involved with coaching the two students. He said: "It is obvious that these two have real potential."
