I UNDERSTAND from the Evening News that Drakes Broughton is now no longer considered suitable for a major airport by the idiots in Whitehall.

It was news to me that they even considered it. It could have had a funny affect on the proposed withdrawal of the buses.

We would have found it easier to get to Ibiza than Evesham and probably cheaper, too.

Presumably, the project was shelved due to the probability of it keeping the asylum seekers awake at nearby Throckmorton.

Why did they stop at an airport for Drakes Broughton? What about a nuclear submarine base for Diglis Dock in Worcester? A Channel Tunnel terminal for Pirton? The mind boggles.
