THERE is talk of Regional Government. This could be of advantage to Worcester and Worcestershire, which under the existing system of local government, invariably receive paltry grants from Westminster/Whitehall, compared to other parts of the country.
Movement towards such regional government is not being motivated by the European Union, which did not initiate the idea. However, even if the European movement was behind it, it would still be a good idea.
Of course the UKIP sees regional administration as a European plot to facilitate a take-over of the UK. How can Europe take over the UK when this country has been taken over by the USA and Israel already?
Incidentally take-over from across the Atlantic does not seem to worry UKIP and fellow travellers. They only have bees in their bonnets concerning Europe.
