ANDY Keast was far from happy with his side despite the 73-5 defeat of Bracknell.
The Sixways coach was upset with Worcester's lacklustre second half display as they moved into the fourth round of the Powergen Cup.
Worcester were 52-0 up at half time but failed to reproduce the same form in the second period.
"We didn't think, we turned our brains off and didn't do what we should have done," said Keast.
"Bracknell are not in the same league as us and that is not just said in the obvious sense. The players just turned off and if they do that, they get the wrath of the coaches because it simply wasn't good enough."
Keast was pleased, though, with the first half display as Worcester ripped the National Two outfit apart.
"The first half was played at pace and that was the difference. Pace of the ball, pace of delivery was much better and that was reflected in the score. But if we hadn't have beaten Bracknell by 50 points then it would have been disgraceful. We played some fantastic rugby in the first half but it is all about being professional and we weren't in the second half."
The former Harlequins man believes Worcester have a lot of work to do before they lock horns with Moseley on Saturday.
"If our players want to do anything in the cup or in the league then each 80 minutes is important. We've got to keep our feet on the ground and stop getting carried away. It's not about the scoreboard, it's about performance for 80 minutes and we will not hide behind the score.
"I have to look at the bigger picture. Bracknell are irrelevant to me and to Worcester. What we are trying to do is build something at Worcester and we stopped developing midway through the match. We got carried away and forgot how to play and it wasn't good enough."
Keast, however, picked out some positives from the day.
"Hugo Southwell did very well on his first start while Chris Garrard worked extremely hard. I was pleased with Neil Lyman who was coming back after injury and it was a good experience for Jon Higgins. We are through to the next round and we must remember that a lot of players were missing today so there are some positives to be taken. However, we must improve."
