A COUNCIL house in Warndon has been given a Changing Rooms-style make over.
The move has been designed to show tenants the benefits of transferring homes to Worcester Community Housing.
Tenants will have a chance to look round 27 Langdale Drive, a two-bedroomed property that has been repaired and refurbished.
The work shows the standard of fixtures and fittings that tenants could expect to see in their own homes if the transfer takes place.
"If the homes are transferred to Worcester Community Housing the new landlord would aim to see all their properties in the city improved to this level.
"The colour schemes and fittings may vary, depending on the choices tenants make, but the quality of materials and standard of work would be exactly the same.
"Tenants do not have to make a decision about the possible transfer of homes until summer 2003.
"Before then we will be doing lots more work to let them know what the transfer could mean to both them and their families."
All council tenants are being invited to take a look at the house from Monday, November 4, to Saturday, November 9 ,from 10am to 4pm daily. It can also be viewed outside these dates by calling 01905 722449.
