KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are expected to make changes for tonight's LDV Vans Trophy first round clash against Nationwide Conference Dagenham and Redbridge at Victoria Road (7.45).
A number of players are carrying injuries, while others could be drafted in after recently coming off the casualty list.
Defender Scott Stamps is unlikely to play because of a back injury which forced him to be substituted at half time in Saturday's 3-2 Nationwide League Division Three victory over Shrewsbury Town at the Gay Meadow.
Front-runner Drewe Broughton also needed nine stitches in a head wound which he suffered during the first-half.
The former Peterborough United campaigner, however, is set to play tonight.
Rookie Lee Ayres, who has been suffering from hamstring trouble recently, is expected to be available to keep his place in the centre of defence.
Two other players who could find themselves in action are midfielders Sean Parrish and Dean Bennett.
Both were on the substitutes' bench on Saturday after being part of Harriers recent crop of casualties.
Parrish was unavailable for five weeks because of a hamstring injury, while Bennett has battled back to fitness after being one of a number of Aggborough players who were laid low by a recent stomach bug.
Giant central defender Abdou Sall continues to be sidelined by a mystery ankle injury while Mark Blake is still on a rehabilitation programme following an Achilles tendon operation.
Britton, meanwhile, is not under-estimating the Daggers who are just below half way in the Conference following their 2-0 victory at Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
He said: "It's an important game because we want to do well in the competition. I want us to win all our matches."
Last season Harriers won 1-0 at Doncaster Rovers in the first round and then bowed out following a 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield.
They tasted LDV action for the first time the previous season and won 1-0 at home to Carlisle United before losing 2-0 at Bury.
FORMCAST: Harriers will have to work hard for a 2-1 victory.
