YOUNGSTERS at a Worcester school have been busy cleaning out their cupboards and handing over toys to a good cause.
Pupils at Warndon Infants School donated a string of items to Operation Christmas Child, organised by Samaritans Purse.
Shoe boxes were filled with the gifts for children in war-torn countries.
"Instead of bringing the normal fruit or vegetables for the harvest festival, they were asked to bring in items for a shoe box," said headteacher Margaret Probett.
"It's the first time we have done it and the children were very enthusiastic."
