STUDLEY will take on Nationwide Conference outfit Hereford United in a friendly tonight (Wednesday ko 7.15pm).
Player-coach Nicky Cross arranged the competitive workout for Studley and the hosts are hoping to see a full strength side with a handful of Edgar Street regulars battling back from injury.
The match will mark a reunion for former Hereford United player Mark Chambers, who now manages Studley and last played for the Bulls in 1979.
After the euphoria of a first round win in the FA Vase on Saturday, the Bees were brought back down to earth when the draw was announced this week.
After being drawn away in the opening two rounds of the FA Cup and the first rounds of the Vase and Birmingham Senior Cup, Studley will be on the road again.
Chambers' side won 3-1 at Alliance rivals Pelsall Villa with Andy Grubb, Ian Mitchell and Matt Coppin on the mark.
And their reward is a trip to Nottinghamshire to face Central Midlands League champions Heanor Town on Saturday, November 9.
Heanor were founder members of the Supreme Division of their league and finished runners-up for three years before winning the last two titles.
They are second in the table but the league is two levels below Studley, the equivalent of Division One of the Midland Combination.
Winger Mark Neath is back from suspension and will be available for Saturday's tough trip to fourth placed Stourbridge (ko 3pm).
Mark Crisp is also set to return after missing the Vase win to do a coaching badge.
The league fixture at home to Grosvenor Park on November 9 will be rearranged because of the Vase fixture.
