Bromsgrove and Redditch Champions Lickey Monarchs' proved too good for West Midland Phones B, winning 10-0 in the opening week of the season.
West Midlands Phones, promoted from Division Two, went down 7-3 to SPSP.
Steve Nicholls won his three for the winners with Winterbourne and Govier getting two each. Fred Harrison won two singles for the Phones.
Droitwich beat Astwood Bank 6-4 in a close game. Trevor Simmonds was the star for Droitwich, winning his three games, well backed up by Gordon Nicklin who won two.
They then teamed up to win the doubles. For the Bank Ken Southwell did best winning two with Dave Wood and Jim Connor getting one each.
Carter Retail, formerly known as Garringtons, were too good for Droitwich B winning 10-0.
Barnt Green B drew 5-5 with Studley Road Nomads in Division Two. Pat McCabe did best for the Green winning his three games, Jim McGuire won one and they teamed up to win the doubles. Bernie Leech and Jeff Lines won two each for Studley, Ian Cairns getting one.
Studley Road Terriers lost 7-3 at home to Barnt Green Hornets. Pete Hartles, John Dignum and Steve Gascoine all won one each for Studley, but three wins each for Ivor Anderson and Paul Grigg, plus the doubles, gave Barnt Green a comfortable win.
Carter Retail C had a fine 6-4 win over Hillcrest with newcomer Dot MacFarlane in great form winning her three games. Brian Askey won two and they joined up to win the doubles and victory. Alan McLoughlan did best for Hillcrest, winning two with Buxton and O'Dell getting one each.
West Midlands Phones C beat Carter Retail B 9-1. Ian Cooper and Jeff Cook both won three with Mark Cohen winning two.
And Droitwich Spa C had an easy 8-2 home win against Studley Road Bulldogs. Mike Langston and Neal Pickering won their three games and the doubles with Dave Crisp with the other singles win. Tony Seymour and Keith Owen won one each for the Bulldogs.
