A FINAL decision on whether or not to demolish or revamp prefabricated homes in Abbeydale will be made on December 9.
This is despite a meeting last night between council chiefs and residents to discuss and draw up a refurbishment programme for the homes in Dolphin Road.
Council Leader David Cartwright said although residents were strongly opposed to having their homes knocked down, it was still an option to be discussed.
Mr Cartwright said he thought the cost to repair all the homes, which would come from the council's budget, would not differ greatly from previous estimates of between £500,000 and £1.5 million.
