PLANS to demolish vacant school buildings and houses to make way for a residential development in Wythall are facing a refusal next week.
The application involves building six terraced, four semi-detached and two detached three-storey houses, as well as garages, a three-storey apartment block and associated road and sewer works in Station Road.
The three houses earmarked for demolition have large back gardens and the site also contains the front parking area, play area and single-storey buildings of Innisfree House School.
Concerns raised over the proposed development include overlooking and loss of privacy, traffic implications and that it is not in keeping with the style of housing in the area.
Members of Bromsgrove Council planning committee members are due to discuss the application on Monday, October 28.
