PLANNING permission is being sought for a new healthcare centre at Brockhill Prison.
The application involves upgrading healthcare facilities at the Tardebigge women's prison to meet health service standards.
The prison complex was constructed in the 1960s and the proposed two-storey extension is an L-shaped building to the west of the site.
Planning committee members are set to discuss the application on Monday.
