YOUNG people will be given an insight on what happens in the rest of the world when a Global Citizenship day is held at Redditch Youth House next week.
Around the World in Half a Day takes place at the Ipsley Street venue from 10am-4pm next Wednesday and also aims to show actions and choices people make have an impact on others, both locally and globally.
The event is aimed at 13-19 year olds and features various workshops, stalls displaying fruit and food from the Caribbean, drumming workshops and global arts and games.
There will also be a 24ft globe of the world which can hold 100 people.
For more details, call 63821 or pick up a booking form from Redditch Youth House.
The event costs £1 and a "global lunch" will be provided.
