REDDITCH Black History Society is exhibiting traditional arts and crafts from Africa and the Caribbean at Forge Mill Museum.
Members have contributed personal possessions to the exhibition, which opened in the Riverside museum's temporary exhibitions gallery on Sunday as part of Black History Month.
The Black History Society was formed in 1994 with the aim of researching and learning about African Caribbean issues and to support the African Caribbean community in Redditch.
Visitors to the exhibition, which runs until November 24, can see textiles, sculpture and basketry from African and Caribbean countries as well as tropical shells and fruits and vegetables.
There will be a quiz to see whether visitors can identify a number of well-known people and those who answer them all correctly can claim a prize from the museum shop.
The museum is open Monday-Thursday and Sunday afternoons but there will also be a special half-term opening event on Friday, November 1.
