ALCESTER slumped out of the Powergen Junior Vase after a shock defeat to lower league opposition at the weekend.
North Midlands Two side Tenbury play the equivalent of a division below Alcester but belied their status with a 17-8 home win to make it two defeats in a row for Pat Lamb's side.
The Kings Coughton side started Warwickshire One impressively with three straight wins but stumbled against leaders Manor Park and Lamb will be hoping to return to winning ways at the weekend.
Alcester entertain third placed Dunlop (ko 3pm) and will be hoping to ruin their perfect three match start to the season.
With Manor Park taking on Trinity Guild, the top four are playing each other and Alcester need a win to stay in touch.
Fly half Matt Gwynn made a welcome return at the weekend after a lengthy injury absence but openside flanker Nick O'Connor is ruled out on Saturday after having stitches in a cut lip.
