TICK tock, it's time to turn back your clocks and enjoy an extra hour in bed.
That's the message from Rubery's Rodney Collyer who has been changing clocks at Collyer Jewellers, in New Road, since 1948.
The 76-year-old is semi-retired but still works in the shop six days per week.
His daughter and business partner Christine Wilby, of Marlbrook, now manages the shop and will be helping her father with the mammoth timekeeping task.
Clocks must go back one hour at 2am this Sunday, marking the end of British winter and the beginning of cold, dark winter evenings.
Christine urged people with older clocks to wind them forward by 11 hours to prevent damaging the works.
