ALCESTER has been spared in the latest bout of severe weather - but not the outlying villages.
However, no one was injured after gales and rain hit the area last Tuesday evening.
Worst affected was Aston Cantlow, with the main road leading into the village under water.
Mr Evans said he had met the flood and drainage officer at Stratford Council who had suggested one or two things that could be improved.
Two cars were damaged on the A46, near to Red Hill, after severe gales.
Motorists in Studley were also affected after a tree came down and blocked Eldorado Close.
