THE appraisal shows a massive call for more police presence in the villages.
And going hand in hand with the demand for more police in the villages was a problem with drugs.
Villagers were asked to answer questions relating to drugs if they were certain they knew about problems they had seen.
Out of 1,331 residents who returned the questionnaire, 244 said they knew about the sale or distribution of drugs.
Sixty residents said they knew of people who used or shared needles for the use of drugs.
