A HEADLESS Cross fish and chip shop owner has been left fearing for his safety after fireworks were hurled through his front door - twice.
The attacks come just a week after the Redditch Advertiser reported police were cracking down on the misuse of fireworks, vowing to arrest anybody seen lighting or throwing them in the street.
Loizos Theodorou, whose family has run the recently refurbished Inn Plaice since 1967, said: "During the first incident, a rocket was thrown at the window upstairs but fell to the pavement.
"But five minutes later they came round again in a car and threw another rocket actually inside the shop. There was another incident the night after."
Mr Theodorou said there were no customers in the shop when the fireworks were thrown in but his staff were frightened and felt their lives were in danger.
