THE society's first club competition of the season was held on September 24.
In the print section, Ray Joel came first and second with Angela Joel third.
In the slides section, John Kettle was first, Len Stockall second and Irene S Matthews third.
On October 1, a self-criticism evening took place where most members bought either three slides or three prints and other members made constructive suggestions for improvements or different approaches to taking the picture in question.
The annual quiz night took place on October 15. Anyone interested in joining the society would be most welcome. Call Irene S Matthews on 520083.
