PLANS for a charity walkathon between Forge Mill Museum and Arrow Valley Countryside Centre have been mooted.
The move will come in an attempt to raise the profile of both venues and attract up to 86,000 more visitors each year.
It is part of a nine-month review of the museum and the countryside centre being spearheaded by Redditch Council.
Mrs Thomas said signposts and picnic areas would be introduced along the route, which would be maintained and landscaped but would still retain the 'wild' appeal it currently has.
The panel is still looking for extra funding to improve the museum and members are exploring the possibility of a Lotto bid.
A consultant has also been employed by the panel to look at ways of improving both attractions and increasing visitor numbers.
Mrs Thomas is urging people to contact her at 30, Thornbury Lane, Church Hill, with suggestions on how the venues can be taken forward and improved.
