PLANS are being finalised for this year's Remembrance Day parade.
The parade on Sunday, November 10 will be followed the next day, with a two-minute silence and small service at 11am in the Kingfisher Centre.
The Sunday parade will culminate in a service at St Stephen's Church conducted by the Rev Stephen Winter, the newly appointed Chaplain to the Redditch Royal British Legion.
Before the service Redditch Mayor Steve Wheeler will take the salute outside the town hall from the parade which will include ex-servicemen and women, TA members, army, air and sea cadets and other uniformed organisations.
Collectors will be out and about in the run up to the day trying to beat the £16,500 raised in Redditch last year for the Poppy Appeal.
