SHOWGIRLS, gangsters, down and outs and a whole lot of splurge are promised for Evesham High School's latest production - Bugsy Malone.
A pint-sized Prohibition-era gang war between the forces of Fat Sam and his arch rival Dandy Dan, culminating in a massive and messy "splurge gun" fight will be played out at the Four Pools Road school next month.
Head of drama Jayne Cathness said: "About 40, 13 to 17-year-old pupils are involved in the production and are looking forward to using our splurge guns. The audience will be part of the action, sitting around tables as part of the Speakeasy, and we have a live student band."
The production runs from Tuesday, November 12, until Friday, November 15 in the school's Large Hall. Tickets are available on 01386 442060.
