HAPPY travellers Kidderminster Harriers are bidding to transfer their impressive away form to Aggborough on Saturday.
Boss Ian Britton is looking for his players to give home fans something to cheer after the poor 2-0 defeat to Macclesfield earlier this month.
Harriers reacted impressively to the set-back, breaking into the play-off zone for the first time by beating Shrewsbury 3-2.
But Cambridge United, with the best scoring record and an unbeaten five-match run in Division Three, stand between them and a third home win this weekend.
Britton said: "Cambridge are just below us and can score goals. We don't concede many so it should make for an interesting game.
"But it's an important match no matter who we are playing because we are at home and we need to make up for Macclesfield.
"The lads have responded well after that game and gone about their job in the right way. They have got their just rewards.
"We have played well at times at home but have not taken our chances."
A strong Harriers line-up produced their fourth away win in a row with Tuesday's LDV Trophy first round 3-1 success at Conference club Dagenham and Redbridge.
But Britton was stung by a new hamstring worry for Adie Smith who joins fellow defender Scott Stamps (back) as a doubt for the Cambridge clash.
However, defender Abdou Sall (ankle) has returned to training and midfielder Mark Blake (Achilles) is doing ball work following his long absence.
Britton added: "We wanted to keep a run going with the Dagenham game and we also didn't want to be embarrassed.
"Any Conference side is capable of beating a Third Division side on their day and I didn't want that to happen to us."
Britton has denied rumours that Harriers are set to sign a new striker, insisting he has no money available within the budget.
Inderpaul Khela has joined Dr Martens Western Division Evesham on a temporary basis.
The defender will play at the same level as Andy Corbett who has scored seven goals in his loan spell at Solihull.
Harriers visit Swansea City in the league on Tuesday (7.45pm).
