ONE of the four men who helped put together a financial package to save Evesham United ten years ago has died.
Les Malins, who was 76, was still heavily involved at Common Road right until the time of his death last Thursday. Along with his wife Sandra, Les helped on the turnstiles and was a popular member of the committee.
The funeral will take place at St Andrew's Church, Hampton at 12.30pm tomorrow. The club will hold a minute's silence before Saturday's game against Solihull.
