WORCESTER City have had a bid to sign Cambridge City's Adam Wilde rejected.
The winger is one of several targets manager John Barton is pursuing as he seeks to boost his injury-depleted squad.
Meanwhile, City will be boosted by the return of Paul Carty from suspension for the first of two clashes with Halesowen Town on Saturday.
Leon Jackson also completes his three-match ban at the weekend and is available for the home League Cup clash with the Yeltz on Monday.
