Bromsgrove Rovers moved four points clear at the top of the Western Division after a late James Dyson goal was enough to give them a 1-0 win at bottom club Swindon Supermarine.
Rovers, unbeaten in the league, produced a good all-round display to merit their position.
They controlled most of the possession in the first-half, in which the first chance fell to Swindon's Adie Adams, a young striker on loan from Forest Green, who forced Matt Lowe to save well.
Rovers responded when Dyson shot over following a nice flick-on from Les Palmer.
Mark Benbow's free-kick was pushed away by 'keeper Paul Titcombe, and then Kevin Banner's cross was turned back across goal by Benbow and Richard Burgess saw his shot rebound down off the underside of the crossbar.
Rovers were almost caught out when Steve Bennett sent over a perfect cross but Paul Hunt headed wide.
Before the break Palmer was twice just off target, Dyson fired just over the top, and from Benbow's corner Steve Frost headed wide.
Supermarine missed a glorious opportunity early in the second-half when a cross from Adam Collier was somehow headed past an open goal by Dominic Dutton. Adams then hit a long-range effort which Lowe pushed around the post.
Palmer had another chance, but from an acute angle shot wide. Palmer set up Frazer McHugh who also shot wide, and Leigh White blocked Palmer's pile-driver of a shot.
An entertaining match was aided by excellent refereeing from female official Alison Chapman of Reading, who allowed play to flow and with not a single caution in sight.
Swindon missed another great chance when ex-Welsh international Paul Bodin sent a 60-yard pass into Collier's path, but he shot wide.
But 10 minutes from time Paul Danks and McHugh combined well to win a free-kick, which McHugh floated into the area and Dyson toe-poked the ball into the net.
Supermarine tried to hit back and Adams' 30-yard shot was touched onto the bar by Lowe and Hunt shot wide from the rebound. Lowe then tipped over a shot from Richard Knox.
