WORCESTERSHIRE-based Saracens continued their winning ways with another victory in their third National League Division Seven game.
They travelled to Northampton to play Unit 7 and came away with another five points in a 43-29 victory.
They have won all their games so far and have three more to go with the possibility of promotion to Division Six at their first attempt.
Saracens started off rather erratically and took time to settle into their game, as the pace was rather frantic from both teams, but Saracens ended the first quarter with a three-goal lead.
Saracens took hold of the game in the second quarter and broke down all angles of play. They stepped up their pace and converted all the extra attempts that the defence had turned over.
With Unit 7 under immense pressure from the Saracens defence of Sally Hill, Dawn Burford, Shelley Hudson and Mel Hunt they only scored two goals during the 15-minute period and Saracens stretched their lead to 10 goals.
Unit 7 were forced to make changes to their shooting circle during half-time, but Saracens maintained their pressure at the defence end and with excellent feeds in from Helen Webb to Karen Moore and Carrie Fearby in the shooting circle Saracens increased their lead to 14 goals by the end of the third quarter.
The last 15 minutes was intense with both teams continuing to push on. Karen Greenfield, on for Hill in the defence, linked up well with Burford and continued to force the ball out of play, while Fearby put away some excellent shots.
Saracens' next match is against Yendys (Birmingham) on November 3 at Sport Martley, starting at 1.30pm.
