THERE is plenty to keep the children occupied during the half-term holiday, with entertainment, activities and events at various venues around Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
Saturday sees the Singing Kettle in a new adventure - Jungle Party - at Malvern Theatres, with performances at 1pm and 4pm.
The family show is designed to appeal to children and adults alike and is presented by Children's ITV stars, Cilla Fisher, Artie Trezise and Kevin MacLeod.
The audience - who are being encouraged to go along dressed as wild animals - will have the chance to see Cilla dancing with a gorilla, Kevin being tickled by bugs and Gary wrestling with a crocodile.
Malvern Theatres is also the venue for Dance Week, which will showcase a variety of styles.
The schedule for the week is: Monday, African dance, with Norman "Rubba" Stephenson, 2pm to 4pm; Tuesday, tango, with Paul Pritchard, 11.30am to 1pm; Wednesday,American jazz and swing, with the Rock Dance Company, 11am to 1pm and salsa, with Maurico from Latinmotion, 2pm to 4pm; Thursday, flamenco, with Ana Garcia, 3.30pm-5pm - beginners under 16, 5.30pm-7pm - beginners aged 16-plus, 7.30pm-9pm - improvers of all ages.
Worcestershire County Museum, at Hartlebury has fun for all the family with an autumn fair from Monday until Friday.
Hands-on activities include brass rubbing, making a peg doll or a quill pen and trying to compose a masterpiece. There is no need to book for any of the County Museum activities, although there is a small charge for some of the materials used. The activities run between 10.30am-1pm and 2pm-4.30pm each day, except Friday, when there is an afternoon session only. Details of each day's events can be found on 01299 250416.
Next Wednesday,Tewkesbury Abbey is hosting stained glass workshops, for children and adults.
Sessions will be held between 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. There is a charge and booking is recommended, on 01684 850959.
