VIEWS on the proposed demolition of Kidderminster's historic Piano Building are being encouraged by the town's civic society.
Spokesman Charles Talbot has urged concerned residents to write to Wyre Forest District Council's planning department, which will decide the fate of the 19th century industrial structure.
Developer Centros Miller wants to demolish it to make way for a multi-screen cinema.
Planning officer Mike Parker was unable to confirm when the application would come before the planning (development control) committee - but said it would not be at the November meeting as work was continuing on the proposed cinema's design and feasibility.
