A CHINESE restaurant opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday, at Dresden, House, in Evesham.
The Lanatong, formerly the Evesham Diner, was officially opened by snooker player Willie Thorne, at a special launch party.
"We are delighted to have the restaurant up and running and look forward to welcoming local residents to come and sample our excellent food for themselves," said Danny Gunn, owner of the restaurant.
Paulette Smith, local business manager at Barclays Bank, in Evesham, said Mr Gunn and his team deserved success.
" A great deal of hard work has been put into this venture," she said.
"I was glad that Barclays was able to support them. I would like to wish them lots of luck for the future."
