I WRITE in connection with the letter from S Moyes, Stow on the Wold.
My family have lived in Back Walls for eight years, and we have campaigned with neighbours and friends to the Highways Department and Stow Parish Council about the traffic and parking situation. Unfortunately increased traffic is a sign of the times.
Single parent families have again been blamed for causing problems. Not only single parent families have children who go 'off the rails'. This can happen to any class of society, and general thoughtlessness and anti-social behaviour is not only confined to the younger generation.
With regard to dogs barking, if the writer concerned feels so aggrieved perhaps she should contact Cotswold District Council.
We have children, but we have not seen children as young as six or seven playing outside when it is dark.
We would also like to live in a nice rural, quiet community and hopefully our lovely town will remain so.
MRS B J DRYBURGH, Spring Gardens, Back Walls, Stow.
