TINY tots at a Worcester playgroup braved cold and blisters to raise money for their Christmas party.
The youngsters, aged from two-and-a-half to four, pushed their prams for about half-an-hour in a sponsored pram push on Wednesday.
Twenty-six youngsters from St Stephen's Playgroup and Pre-school, in Barbourne, completed five laps of nearby St Stephen's Church and hope to raise about £300.
"I was really pleased with the turnout," said Gail Kainey, playgroup organiser. "All the mums came, which was really excellent.
"I know of at least one of the children - Matthew Thomas - who has already raised £100. That's really good going."
Mrs Kainey said she had come up with the scheme out of desperation.
"We're desperately short of money, basically, so we needed to do something," she said.
