POWICK travelled to Kempsey for this Worcester Saturday League Premier Division match.
KEMPSEY 0, POWICK 3
In the first half both teams tried to dominate but neither could penetrate each other's defence. In the 28th minute Dave Wardroper limped off and was replaced by Chris Golding, which proved a good substitution.
In the second half Powick started well, Stuart Hart was brought down in the penalty area and Chris Golding scored from the spot. Play was end to end but it was Powick who went two up when good play by Lee Evans and Nick Pullen forced a corner. Steve Hadley crossed the ball over for Golding to head home for his second goal.
In the 90th minute Powick again had a corner and this time Jon Hodgetts crossed the ball, unfortunately one of the home defenders scored an own goal.
Man of the match was Lee Evans.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Powick are away to West Hagley in the WFA Cup.
