I should think that hard-working Malvern caterers would not thank Mrs Nanette Freeman, from Telford, for her scornful comments (Your Letters, October 18) on Malvern's lack of eating places - if they had the time to read them.
Did her "invigorating walk on the hills" so exhaust her that she could not walk a short distance to the hotels Mount Pleasant, Foley Arms, Abbey and Great Malvern, the restaurants La Boucherie, White Seasons, Benedicto's, Anupam and Vineyard, pubs Unicorn and Red Lion, cafes Russo's, Destiny's, Lyttelton Well, Waitrose and Victoria and takeaways Malvern's Fish Bar and Restaurant, Pizza Fiesta and Crusty Cob. (Apologies if I have omitted any).
All these places serve good food at varying prices. I think we are very well catered for in Malvern.
