THE autumn season at Manor Park Tennis Club is well under way and coaching has started for all ages, from three years to the over 70's.
The younger children are being taught using the successful Robinson's Mini Tennis Scheme, the teenagers have their own training night on the indoor courts on Thursday nights, while some of the more talented youngsters have been formed into a number of elite training squads.
Soon these squad players will be entering various open events to improve their LTA ratings.
The adult teams, ladies doubles, mens doubles and mixed doubles have just started their winter fixture list.
The coaches have also been busy especially Elizabeth Veal, who as part of the Poynder Tennis Coaching team, has successfully completed the LTA Club Coaches Award-Performance Strand.
