Kidderminster Harriers are in the Division Three automatic promotion zone for the first time after rediscovering their winning touch at home with an important 2-1 victory over Cambridge United.
Harriers go third in the table behind Hartlepool and Bournemouth.
This will go down as an excellent win over a Cambridge side who were unbeaten in five league games and boasted a proud record as the division's top scorers.
Harriers shut up shop in the second half to keep their opponents quiet but in the end were indebted to the finishing of loan man John Melligan.
The Irishman struck on only three minutes before Cambridge top scorer Dave Kitson levelled just five minutes later.
Man of the match Melligan bagged the winner, his fifth goal in nine games at Harriers, on 27 minutes and the home side went on to register a comfortable third win of the season at Aggborough.
