ROOKIE Lee Ayres believes Kidder-minster Harriers have the credentials to book a place in the Nationwide League Division Three play-offs.
The talented 20-year-old, who has been establishing himself in the heart of Harriers defence this term, is convinced the Aggborough outfit will get better as the season progresses.
He said: "I'd be very disappointed if we didn't get a play-off place if we continue to play as we are. But we can't take our foot off the pedal like we did in our last home match against Macclesfield."
Harriers moved into the play-off zone last Saturday following an exciting 3-2 win at Shrewsbury Town.
Ayres said: "I think we can definitely progress from here.
"We are up there now and I still don't think we have really played our best yet. There have been parts of it showing in games, but we haven't been consistent enough throughout every match.
"I think we can definitely push higher. At the minute we have got a few players hitting form. but when everyone does I think we'll be firing on all cylinders.
"You can still get much more out of different players. I felt I could have done more last Saturday at Shrewsbury and I know other players feel they could have done the same. But we have no team to fear in this league."
Ayres is relishing his chance of a run of Division Three appearances after making the starting line-up on nine occasions last season.
"I feel comfortable playing because people around you help to make you relax."
