KIDDERMINSTER Harriers wrap up a disappointing pre-season programme when they face Nationwide League Division Two new boys Cheltenham Town at Aggborough tomorrow (3pm).
In six 'warm-up' games Harriers have won just once and last Saturday produced a below-par display when they had to settle for a last-gasp 2-2 draw with Worcester City.
Boss Ian Britton is now hoping for a timely lift in fortunes against Cheltenham who are now managed by former Aggborough chief Graham Allner.
It will be Harriers' last chance to iron out the wrinkles before launching what promises to be a testing Division Three campaign with a home clash against Lincoln City at week tomorrow.
Britton admitted his side were poor against Worcester but said: "I can assure fans we will not play like we did at Worcester against Lincoln City on August 10."
Young defender Inderpaul Khela who had a lucky escape last weekend when he was involved in a car crash on his way to St George's Lane.
The 18-year-old suffered an eye injury although he was not seriously hurt.
Scott Stamps (ankle) and Adie Smith (side) join Khela as possible non-starters. Newcomer Sean Parrish and Drewe Broughton both collected minor knee injuries against Worcester, but are expected to be fit.
Abdou Sall, who was rested as a precaution for the game with City, is likely to recover from an ankle injury while Lee Ayres (hamstring) and Ian Foster (shins) could come into the reckoning.
Under-16s will be admitted free tomorrow while admission to the seats will be £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
The cost for the terraces will be £8 for adults and £4 for concessions.
n Worcester City manager John Barton will make a decision on the future of several trialists after their reserve team clash at Mickleover tonight (7.30).
Grant Pinkney, Jamie Edwards and former Hereford player John Shirley are among those under trial at St George's Lane. Another trialist Tom Radcliffe has been released.
