KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Ian Britton is playing a waiting game before plunging into the transfer market.
He has money available which was originally going to be used to try to keep Richie Appleby at Aggborough.
The influential midfielder, how-ever, has now joined Hull City and Britton has already turned his attention to boosting the squad.
He is considering the possibility of capturing two new players, one being a midfielder.
He said: "I don't have to move to bring players in because there's no hurry. There's going to be that many players coming up for grabs that we don't have a problem getting what we want.
"We have 19 players and we'll definitely bring in one, possibly two so that that us to a squad of 20 or 21."
Britton has been boosted by the news that Bo Henriksen will be fit to start the new season.
The Danish striker has struggled for a number of months with a groin problem but two specialists - one in the UK and one in Denmark - have agreed on a programme to bring the front-runner back to full fitness.
There is a possibility he may spend a week at Lilleshall to help his rehabilitation before the season gets underway.
Meanwhile, Wyre Forest MP Dr Richard Taylor is helping to spearhead Harriers efforts to raise the club's profile in their bid to inject much-needed cash.
He and Kidderminster officials will be holding a meeting at Aggborough on Monday, June 24, in a further move to try to generate a greater interest in the Division Three outfit.
