DAVID Officer is hoping to make it a hat-trick of celebrations tomorrow when he lines up for Worcester Rugby Club against Orrell (3pm).
The 29-year-old is already on cloud nine after the birth of his first child on Monday coupled with his inclusion for his first start for Worcester since his summer move.
The former Edinburgh star is now looking to bag a couple of tries as he teams up with Ben Hinshelwood in the Sixways midfield against the National One table-toppers.
"I think the perfect end to the week would be a good win and maybe a couple of tries would be nice," he said. "It's certainly been a busy week for me but I'm not complaining! It's great to be in the side," he added.
Moment
"I was down to play at Coventry and obviously had to pull out at the last moment but I cannot wait for tomorrow -- it should be a great game to play in."
Meanwhile, John Brain is backing powerhouse Mark Gabey to punch his weight in the Orrell clash. The Sixways director of rugby has included the former Bath forward ahead of Dan Zaltzman at lock as Worcester look to land an early season psychological blow in the title race.
Gabey, who weighs in at more than 19 stone, will add some bulk to an already impressive pack as the Warriors bid to replace Orrell at the top of the table.
"We felt that, from what we've seen of Mark since he's come back from his knee operation, we needed to start with him. He's maybe not 100 per cent match fit yet but that will come."
