He will, however, be available to take on Coventry in Worcester's opening National One clash on August 31 - the scene of his sending off last season.
Brain is monitoring a number of injury concerns following Saturday's 26-22 win over Swansea. Adrian Olver has a slight hamstring strain while Christian Evans and Jim Jenner are both suffering with neck injuries.
Craig Chalmers took a knock on his cheek yesterday when he collided with Richard Nias in training while Gary Trueman is battling illness to be involved on Friday.
