SAM Bowen is poised to return for Bromsgrove Rovers' trip to Knypersley Victoria in the Midland Alliance tomorrow (3pm).
The former Worcester City striker, Rovers' leading scorer this season, has missed a string of matches because of an ankle injury but joint boss Gary Hackett is delighted to have both Bowen and fellow front man Matt Coppin available.
"He's still nursing his way back but he is a proven goalscorer at all levels and I'm sure when he gets his fitness back he will be a threat once again," he said.
Rovers will be looking to add to successive league wins which propelled them to fourth place before the Boxing Day games but Hackett is wary of struggling Knypersley.
"We've had two good wins and both the results and performances were pleasing and it has put us back into contention.
"Although we are quite a few points behind Stratford things can change very quickly so the important thing is to keep winning.
"Knypersley have always been a very good home side so we will have to be on form to win but we are confident."
Rovers will be without Mark Clifton, who badly injured his ankle ligaments in the final minute of the 2-1 win over Halesowen Harriers and will be out for 10 to 12 weeks according to Hackett.
"We'd agreed with Evesham United to have him for the foreseeable future and he was looking very solid and dependable so it is a blow to lose him," added Hackett.
