THE news of Bilston's demise means no-one is likely to be cut from the Dr Martens League Western Division this season with bottom club Rocester the obvious beneficiaries.
The Queen Street club folded last week to suffer the same fate as newly-formed Bloxwich United earlier in the season.
And with Alliance sides Stapenhill and Paget Rangers suffering the same fate the immediate outlook for Midlands non-league clubs is grim.
