Redditch Petty Sessions - Thomas Pinfield, 2 Ipsley Street, Redditch, was charged on remand with stealing a goose, value 5s, the property of John Sollis, butcher, George Street, Redditch, on September 13th.
John Sollis said he occupied part of Holloway Farm, Ipsley.
He identified the goose by a corn on one of its feet - (laughter).
He was able to say whether it was usual for geese to have corns on their feet.
