REDDITCH defender Paul West is a definite non-starter for tomorrow's derby trip to Solihull Borough.
West has been sidelined by ankle and knee problems since the FA Cup replay against Gresley a month ago.
He has resumed training but the Solihull match is too soon and he is doubtful for Wednesday's trip to Chippenham.
"I'm wary of setting myself targets because it's too demoralising when you fail to meet them," said the former Port Vale, Bardford and Wigan defender.
Reds assistant Gary Hackett said West was hoping to see a specialist next week.
Fellow defender Tommy Byrne is out tomorrow after a hamstring injury in Tuesday's Birmingham Senior Cup defeat.
The injury was initially though to be a tear but was just a knotting of the muscle and means an absence of days rather than weeks.
