REDDITCH are waiting anxiously on the results of a specialist's report on defender Nigel Niblett's calf injury.
Reds assistant manager Gary Hackett admitted the mystery problem, which will sideline the captain for Saturday's trip to Shifnal, was a concern.
'It could be a week or three,' said Hackett.
Mark Creighton is out after a hamstring injury against Halesowen Harriers and is doubtful for the visit of Stourport Swifts on Tuesday.
Stopper Tommy Byrne could return on Tuesday after a heel problem and midfielder Scott Colcombe will be available next week.
The former Stourbridge winger had an anti-inflammatory jab and has to rest for seven days.
But after seeing a specialist and having an MRI scan Colcombe has been given the all-clear to return after a knee injury suffered in the close season.
